The event is open from 6pm, canapés provided from 6:30pm, education seminar starts at 6:45pm.
Aim: to explore knowledge about identification and addressing elder abuse amongst community pharmacists.
As front-line health care providers, pharmacists and their staff are very well placed to identify and highlight any suspected elder abuse. The aim of this education is to empower them with the knowledge to recognise and respond to the signs of elder abuse - an issue that sadly affects many older members of our community.
